WE PROM is a high-energy fashion and event competition series where wildly creative teens are given a production budget to design, market, and execute unforgettable prom reveal experiences. The boldest visionaries compete for cash prizes, scholarships, internships, NIL-style brand deals, and the title of WE PROM Champions.
MEET THE MINDS BEHIND WE PROM
Lauren Lake, Emmy award-winning TV judge, attorney, and interior designer, alongside Sabrina Thompson — former TV producer and former NYC high school teacher turned filmmaker —are the masterminds behind this new coming-of-age experience.
Lauren and Sabrina are co-founders of the non-profit WEEN (Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network) and have 20+ years of experience building careers at the intersection of entertainment, youth empowerment, education, and storytelling. They created WE PROM for the creatives, risk-takers, and main characters, turning prom into fashion, performance art, and cultural chaos.
Inspired by the legacy of cotillions and debutante culture, WE PROM honors tradition while ushering in a new generation of teenagers to be loud, bold, competitive, and impossible to ignore.
